Terms of use
Last updated 1 November 2026
These terms are the agreement between you and myGAAT when you use the app. Please read them. If you are under 18, please read them with a parent or carer.
1. Who can use myGAAT
myGAAT is for students in Year 10 to Year 13, aged 13 to 19. You must give true answers when you sign up. You may only have one account.
2. Your account
- Keep your password private. You are responsible for what happens on your account.
- Your username must not include your real name, phone number, birthday, school or anything rude. We may change or remove usernames that break this rule.
- You can delete your account at any time. See Support.
3. Free and paid features
You can play 3 practice battles a day for free. A subscription costs £1 a month and gives you unlimited battles and entry to the monthly challenge.
- You pay through Apple or Google, and their payment terms apply too.
- Your subscription renews every month until you cancel it. You can cancel at any time in your Apple or Google account settings, and you keep access until the end of the month you paid for.
- Refunds are handled by Apple or Google.
- If we ever change the price, we will tell you first and you can cancel before you pay the new price.
4. Playing fairly
To keep things fair, you must not:
- use more than one account, or let someone else play on yours
- use bots, scripts, other people or other tools to answer questions for you
- try to break, copy or interfere with the app
- bully, threaten or upset other students
If you break these rules, we may remove your scores, stop you entering the challenge, or close your account.
5. Our questions
Our questions and explanations are written to help you revise for GCSE and A level. We work hard to make them accurate, but mistakes can happen. If you spot one, please tell us. myGAAT is not made by, linked to or approved by AQA, Pearson Edexcel or OCR.
The questions, design and code of myGAAT belong to us. You may use them for your own revision, but not copy or sell them.
6. If something goes wrong
We try to keep myGAAT running smoothly, but we cannot promise it will always be available or free of errors. We are not responsible for losses we could not reasonably have expected. Nothing in these terms affects your legal rights as a consumer.
7. Changes to these terms
We may update these terms. If a change matters, we will tell you in the app before it takes effect.
8. The law
These terms are governed by the law of England and Wales. If you live in Scotland or Northern Ireland, you can also bring a claim in your local courts.
